Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1st September 2026
Welcome to Queens Club Dachshunds. These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of www.queensclubdachshunds.com (the “Website”), including our shop, newsletter sign-up, contact forms, blog content and any other services made available through the Website.
By using the Website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before using the Website or buying from us.
1. Who we are
Queens Club Dachshunds (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a UK-based dachshund-focused business and community. We share training information, dachshund-related content and original designs, and sell products through our Website.
Our contact details are:
Queens Club Dachshunds
Website: www.queensclubdachshunds.com
Email: queensclubdachshunds@gmail.com
Please contact us by email if you have a question about these Terms, an order, a product or the Website.
2. Using this website
You may use the Website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes only.
You must not:
- Use the Website in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems or its content.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, adapt, sell or commercially exploit our content, images, designs, text, graphics or branding without our written permission.
- Use the Website in a way that damages, disrupts or interferes with it or with another person’s use of it.
- Submit false, misleading, offensive or abusive information through a form, enquiry or message.
We may suspend, change, withdraw or restrict access to any part of the Website at any time where reasonably necessary.
3. Dachshund information and training content
The Website, newsletter, blog and social-media content may include general information about dachshund behaviour, training, care, products and life with dachshunds.
This content is provided for general information and enjoyment. It is not veterinary, medical, legal, insurance, behavioural or professional training advice, and it should not replace advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Every dog is an individual. Training methods, routines, products and activities that work for one dachshund may not suit another. You are responsible for deciding what is appropriate for your dog and for seeking advice from a vet, qualified behaviourist, trainer or other suitable professional where needed.
If your dog is ill, injured, in pain, showing sudden behavioural changes or has a potential emergency, please contact a veterinary professional promptly.
4. Products and product information
We aim to describe and photograph products as accurately as possible. However:
- Colours may look different depending on your screen, device or display settings.
- Product photographs are illustrative and may not show every size, variation or detail.
- Some items may be made to order, printed by a third party or produced in small batches.
- Product availability can change, and we may limit quantities or stop offering a product at any time.
- We may correct accidental errors in product descriptions, pricing, availability or other information.
Our designs are for humans who love dachshunds and understand their ways. They are not a promise that wearing one of our items will improve recall, stop barking at a leaf or persuade a dachshund to share the sofa.
5. Orders and payment
When you place an order through the Website, you are making an offer to buy the selected product or products.
Your order is not accepted until we send you an order-confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where there is a genuine reason to do so, including where:
- A product is unavailable.
- There has been an obvious pricing or product-description error.
- Payment has not been authorised or received.
- We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
- We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled product as soon as reasonably possible.
Prices will be shown in pounds sterling (£) and will be displayed clearly before you place your order. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before you complete payment.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not normally store your complete card details.
6. Delivery
We will send your order to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Please check that your address, email address and contact details are correct before completing your order.
Delivery times shown on the Website or at checkout are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a specific date with you. We will aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the timeframe stated at checkout, and in any event without undue delay.
If no other delivery period has been agreed, UK distance-selling guidance generally expects goods to be delivered within 30 days of the order being made.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, customs processes, strikes, severe weather, supplier disruption or technical failures. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you using the details you have provided.
Please contact us at queensclubdachshunds@gmail.com as soon as possible if an order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect. Photographs may help us resolve the problem quickly.
7. Cancelling a physical-goods order
If you are a consumer buying physical goods online, you will normally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To cancel, email us at queensclubdachshunds@gmail.com with:
- Your name.
- Your order number.
- The item or items you wish to cancel.
- A clear statement that you wish to cancel your order.
Once you have told us that you want to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Unless an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item. Please take reasonable care of it while it is in your possession and return it unused, in its original condition and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging.
We will refund the price paid for the returned item and the cost of standard delivery, where required by law. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we are only required to refund the equivalent cost of standard delivery.
We will make the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item or, if earlier, within 14 days of receiving evidence that you have sent it back. We may reduce the refund if the item has been used, worn, washed, damaged or handled more than would be reasonably necessary to inspect it.[1][4]
Nothing in this section affects your rights if an item is faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose.
Items that may not be returnable
The legal right to cancel may not apply to certain products, including:
- Personalised or made-to-order goods made to your specifications.
- Sealed items that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
- Other items where an exception applies under consumer law.
Where a product is personalised, made to order or otherwise excluded from cancellation rights, we will make this clear before you buy it.
8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
We want you to be pleased with your order. If an item is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or does not do what it is supposed to do, please contact us at queensclubdachshunds@gmail.com with your order number and details of the issue.
Your legal rights are not affected by these Terms. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. UK guidance states that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
9. Digital products and downloads
If we sell digital products, downloadable guides, files, online materials or other digital content through the Website, additional terms may appear on the relevant product page.
Where you ask for a digital product to be made available immediately, we will ask you to confirm that you want the download or access to begin during the 14-day cancellation period and that you understand you may lose your right to cancel once supply begins.
UK rules require express consent and acknowledgement before a business starts supplying non-tangible digital content within the cancellation period and relies on the customer losing the right to cancel.
Unless we state otherwise, digital products are for your personal use only. You must not share, copy, resell, distribute or make them available to others without our written permission.
10. Newsletter and Substack
You may choose to subscribe to our newsletter or Substack. If you do, you agree that we may send you the content, updates and marketing communications you have signed up to receive.
You can unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting queensclubdachshunds@gmail.com.
Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Future boarding and sitting services
Queens Club Dachshunds is working towards offering licensed dachshund boarding and sitting services in a home environment.
These services are not currently available to book through the Website unless we clearly state otherwise.
When boarding or sitting services become available, they will be subject to separate and specific booking terms. Those terms may include requirements relating to:
- Licensing, welfare and safety standards.
- Meet-and-greets and suitability assessments.
- Vaccination, parasite-control and veterinary requirements.
- Behaviour, socialisation and health information.
- Emergency veterinary consent and treatment.
- Medication, feeding, routines and special care needs.
- Drop-off and collection times.
- Cancellations, deposits, payment and refunds.
- Insurance and liability arrangements.
We may decline an enquiry or booking where we reasonably believe that it would not be safe, appropriate or in the best interests of the dog, other dogs, our team or our home environment.
12. Intellectual property
Unless we say otherwise, all content on the Website belongs to Queens Club Dachshunds or is used with permission. This includes our name, logo, designs, illustrations, photographs, written content, blog posts, newsletters, graphics, product descriptions and branding.
You may view and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy or reproduce our content or designs without permission.
If you would like to use, stock, feature, license or collaborate on our designs or content, please contact us at queensclubdachshunds@gmail.com.
13. Links to other websites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including social-media platforms, Substack, payment providers, product suppliers, affiliate partners or other resources.
We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, terms, products or services. A link does not mean that we endorse the third party or its content.
Please read the terms and privacy policies of third-party websites before using them or providing personal information.
14. Affiliate links and recommendations
From time to time, we may share product recommendations, discount codes or affiliate links. This means we may receive a commission if you buy something through a link, at no extra cost to you.
We will aim to make affiliate relationships clear. Our views are our own, and we will only share products or services we believe may be useful to our community. That said, dachshunds remain free to reject every item you buy them.
15. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you have under consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to this, we are not responsible for losses that:
- Were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the Website or entered into a contract with us.
- Were not caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.
- Relate to your business, trade, craft or profession, where you use the Website as a business user.
- Result from your own actions, decisions or failure to follow relevant instructions.
We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful material. We will take reasonable care to maintain it, but you should use appropriate security software and take your own precautions when using the internet.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website will apply to your use of the Website at that time.
If you have already placed an order, the Terms that applied when you placed that order will normally continue to apply to that order.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living in another part of the UK, you may also have the protection of mandatory laws in the part of the UK where you live.
Any dispute may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, or by the courts of the part of the UK where you
