The Club

Not another sausage walk (although we love those).

Queens Club Dachshunds is a place for dachshund people to meet, share experiences, learn from one another and enjoy being part of a rather particular little community.

We're developing a changing programme of London gatherings, from book clubs and art tours to creative workshops and honest conversations about life with these opinionated little dogs. There will also be online events for those further afield. We're hoping to offer something different each month, with some events welcoming dogs and others deliberately dog-free.

More than anything, we hope you'll meet someone you'd happily arrange to walk with again. Someone who understands the barking, spots a trigger before you do and doesn't make a thing of it.

Because sometimes the nicest thing about meeting another dachshund owner is not having to explain your dachshund.

We're planning our first events now. Join the Club to hear when dates are announced.

An evening in a London pub, a good book featuring a dachshund and a room full of people who understand exactly what it's like to live with one. No literary qualifications required. Strong opinions about dachshunds positively encouraged.

The venue is dog friendly but please only bring your dachshund if they are able to socialise and are used to being in a pub environment.

This is a walk in central London with a sculpture expert (our founder) who regularly takes tours around London Art Fairs. Our Sculpture Specialist will also be tracking how many treats her own dachshund eats.

For people whose dachshunds have rather more to say than most.

A welcoming space to exchange experiences, discover useful resources and feel a little less alone when your dog decides to announce the arrival of absolutely everyone.

There will be an in person event that is dog friendly for dogs which can be in public spaces and also an online digital event.

You don't have to live in London to join the conversation.

We're planning occasional online evenings with authors, dog trainers and other interesting guests from the dachshund world.

Bring your questions, your curiosity and your dachshund, who is very welcome to sleep through the entire thing.

Join the Club to hear about our first guest.

We have planned a walk through St. James’s and Mayfair through participating galleries, that welcome dogs. Highlights will include of course some very special paintings of Dachshunds. A suitable cafe has been found for a refreshing drink afterwards.

Come with us to see artworks created by artists owned by Dachshunds. We have found a museum that hosts works by a large number of them.

Sadly it is not dog friendly.

A little creativity with a distinctly dachshund theme.

We're exploring weekend workshops, including pottery painting, where you could turn a photograph of your dachshund into your very own coffee mug.

No artistic talent required. Just bring a photograph, a willingness to have a go and possibly a sense of humour about the finished result.

We'll confirm which workshops can welcome dogs when we announce the venues.
